Your Work at Home Guide

There are a lot of people out there looking for good content to add to their blogs and websites.  Most of the time, they have to pay for it.  What they may not know is a site called napsnet.com offers free use of their articles which have no copyrights attached to them.

Here is the upside to using napsnet:  There are thousands of articles to choose from on just about any topic you can think of.  An easy search box at the top can help you find what you are looking for.

Here is the downside:  Other people are also allowed to use those articles so you could end up with duplicate content.  That means the same article is found on other sites so people know it’s not original.

Here’s what you can do:  Choose the articles you really like on your topic.  Re-write the headline and change the article around a little bit.  Spending 10 minutes can help you make the article unique and not considered duplicate content.  Remember that this service is free and will save you a ton of money if you are currently purchasing articles for your sites.

If you work online and want to get people to visit your site, a great way is by submitting articles.  You are allowed to have an author box with a link to your site in it.  This looks great to the search engines because you submit your articles to many sites getting a link back.

There are many article submitters to choose from, but I use a free article submitter.  It starts you off with 80 article sites.  You can then add more and delete the ones you don’t like.  Once you have it all set up you can start writing articles and submitting them with ease instead of going to site after site which can take 2 days.  I finished submitting my article in 1 hour.

There is a banner for this free article submitter down the right side of my blog entitled, “100% Free to Work at Home”.  Keep in mind that most article submitters cost $197 and up.  Why spend that kind of money if you don’t have to and you can get the same results.

Do you ever want to add a picture to your blog, but can’t find out if it has any copyrights?  I had this problem when I was creating a Hubpage.  The story required a photo and it was one I couldn’t take with my digital camera.  That got me thinking that their had to be a site online that offered images you could use for free legally.

I was right and I found a site called Art Favor.  They have plenty of free pictures and art images that you can use all without cost.  You don’t even have to sign up to their site.  In about 4 minutes I found the picture I needed, saved it to my computer, and uploaded it to my Hubpage.  Now that I know where this site is, I will save valuable time on my other assignments.

If you find that you are in need of some images or pictures and you don’t want to worry about infringing on someone’s copyrights check out Art Favor.  You won’t be disappointed.

I just found out about a cool free site that lets you record messages with your phone.  It then types your message for you and sends it to you in an email.  Isn’t that so cool!  You can add your friends email addresses and call in an email to your friends.  You can even transcribe in to Wordpress.

If you type fast like me then you may think you don’t need this service.  I think it is still great to use when you are away from your computer and you have something you want to remember to do later.

If you are a slow typer this could be a great service for you.  Plus it is totally free.  I suggest everyone give it a try at least once to see how you like it and if it in fact saves you time.  Time = money.  I am not an affiliate for them or anything I just thought it was a cool service and wanted to tell you about it.

The only thing you will want to remember is to speak loud and speak clearly.  That will ensure that they get your whole message correct.

Stat Counter is a cool free site that allows you to place a tracking device on your website or blog.  It is totally free and extremely helpful for many reasons.  The biggest reason being that you will be able to identify which advertising campaigns are working and which ones are duds.

The stat counter can be added to your site in minutes.  It can be visible or invisible whichever you chose.  I’d go with invisible because it is more professional.  Then all your stats are tracked.  You can find out how many people visited your site, where they came from, and how long they stayed on your site.

When I sign up for a safelist, I want to know that what they promised me is true.  I send the safelist to a site that I have stat counter installed on.  If I get results I will see a bunch of urls coming from that safelist company.  If I don’t see any than I know that site is a scam.

You should really consider using this free tool if you don’t already have it.  It’s a great way to track your progress and like I said keep you from spending time on sites that aren’t helping to increase your traffic.

I love getting free stuff.  That’s why I have a category for it here on my blog.  All the individuals I have met online that work from home look for ways they can cut the costs in their home.  We also are in the midst of a tiny recession and every dime counts.

If you are promoting a business or opportunity that is wide spread you need something to make you stand above the rest.  Offering free bonuses will make the searcher choose you over someone else.

I saw considering getting a site with Site Build It.  As I was searching this I found a guy who was offerings something like 15 free e-books.  If I was going to sign up, I would do it with him so I could get something extra.

There are many places you can find free e-books if you just type “free e-books” in to your search engine.  Sometimes you have to sign up to the e-book yourself and then they give you a reseller link.  Even if it is free it is still called a reseller link.

So try offering some extra free bonuses for your sign-ups and see if you start getting an increase in subscribers.
